About Freedom Foods:
Freedom Foods is a family owned and operated farm located in Wolcott, Indiana, which is about 20 miles north of Lafayette, Indiana. We have 250+ years of generational farm experience and a passionate interest in gardening and growing delicious, high-quality produce.
We value honesty and integrity and strive to demonstrate those traits through our high-quality products and customer service.
Ryan and Kim started independently farming in 2011 while still filling their part of the family farm. They’ve been blessed to see such growth in their farm, and in 2014, they began thinking of other ways they could serve their community. Ryan wanted to think outside of the box in order to provide a helpful, healthy service to Indiana families. He combined his love of gardening with his farming experience to develop the idea behind Freedom Foods.
Greenhouse + Garden Techniques
Utilizing gardening techniques and the construction of greenhouses, Freedom Foods has the capability to provide fresh, organically grown produce year around for families throughout the local area. Staple options (such as lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, etc.) will be grown year around, while a seasonal selection will be available on a monthly basis so be on the lookout for what new produce we’ll be offering. When creating Freedom Foods’ basket options Ryan and Kim thought of their own growing family and what kind of fresh produce they’d like to see and use on a weekly basis.
We’re excited to be providing this service to families and will be serving the local area between Indianapolis and Lafayette/West Lafayette and north to Wolcott. We will provide weekly pick-up locations or direct delivery depending on your location.
