Join the Coburn Place Safe Haven on March 22nd, from 7:00 to 9:00am, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center for their annual Blue Breakfast. In the ninth year of this event, guest speaker Gary Brackett will be sharing his story, and there will be other speakers sharing their stories. Since its opening in 1996, The Coburn Place has been home to 687 adults and 1,101 children. They are one of the leading nonprofits focused on support, advocacy, and resource development for those affected by domestic abuse. They provide shelter, counseling, education, employment preparation and a range of children's programs, including support and housing. This year, The Coburn Place will be adding five new homes, bringing their total number of transitional housing units to 40.
