Indiana Originals Franchise Policy

Indiana Originals Franchise Policy

Franchises are a very important contributor to the economy in Indiana. As a result of the franchise business model, 16,506 local businesses provide 189,000 jobs to the Indiana economy and account for $14.5 billion of the state’s economic output, and $5.4 billion of private sector payroll.  * Economic Impact of Franchised Businesses, Vol IV, Sept. 2016

At Indiana Originals, our goal is to support business owners who do not have the benefit of national brand recognition, logo design, turn-key sales programs, marketing assistance, website templates, buying power, etc. that being part of a franchise provides.

The only franchise owners permitted to join Indiana Originals are owners who own a franchise based in Indiana, such as Jack’s Donuts or a co-op based in Indiana, such as Do-It-Best Hardware stores.

If you own a franchise that does not qualify for Indiana Originals membership, we invite you become a registered user, participate in the forums, and team up with our Indiana Originals members for a variety of ventures and causes. Show off your Hoosier pride by joining as a community member. Together, we call all create healthier stronger communities and more jobs in Indiana.
